Meet women of color who celebrate their ancestors' fight to achieve American Independence through membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).  Who are these women?

Learn about their personal journeys to join the DAR and the contributions they are making as members. The stories of these women are updated and additional members added as they become available.
Use the "filter by" tool to view the descendants by their American Indian, black or African American, and white or European American men and women patriots who contributed to the founding of the United States of America (USA).
Daughters are listed by the date that they became a member of the DAR (join date), displayed in the banner on their photo.
"Join Date" sort option only applies when filtering by "All".

"Newest" sort option lists Daughters by most recently added to this website.
